THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress chief T H Mustafa, suspended from the get together for making derogatory remarks towards AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, has been reinstated after he apologized to the central management for his misdemeanour.
In line with Kerala Pradesh Congress committee president VM Sudheeran, AICC had given its approval to take Mustafa again to the celebration by revoking his suspension from the first membership.
"Mustafa had given a letter to the AICC profusely apologizing for his remarks towards Rahul Gandhi. Accepting his remorse the management has directed the state unit to revoke his suspension," Sudheeran stated in a press release at present.
A former state minister, motion towards Mustafa was taken in June after he referred to as Rahul Gandhi a "joker" saying the get together Vice-President ought to be eliminated if he didn't resign within the backdrop of the get together's debacle within the Lok Sabha polls.
